PMG subsidiary X-Cago receives new managing directors: Andreas Gericke-von Skotnicki

The X-Cago B.V., a Dutch company specializes in data and content conversion in the international publishing house, will receive a new managing director from mid-August. Andreas Gericke-von Skotnicki will take over the management of founders and previous managing directors Koos Hussem. After a quarter of a century, Hussem will devote himself to new tasks in early 2025.

"We warmly welcome Andreas. He is firmly rooted in the German-language publishing scene and with his knowledge we can also establish X-Cago in the D-A CH area as a leading provider of high-quality and quick data conversion for content producers," explains Hussem.

Gericke-von Skotnicki brings extensive knowledge of the publishing business. Before working at X-Cago, he worked for over a decade as a judiciary for media law at the parent company of the Süddeutsche Zeitung. From 2019 he was responsible for the national and international license marketing at DIZ München GmbH and was appointed managing director in 2022.

"Especially during my time as chairman of the PMG shareholders' meeting, I recognized the potential of classic publishing content. Together with my team at X-Cago, I am looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that the international content market offers!" Said Gericke-von Skotnicki.
