Alexianer hospitals set standards in German health care

The Alexian hospitals are among the best clinics in Germany and have recently received awards for their outstanding quality. This recognition spurs her on continuing to work on her top performance in patient care, says Dr. Christian von Klitzing, the managing director of the Alexians.

The assessment of the clinics is based on the latest quality reports from February 2024. The reviews of medical and nursing care are each taken into account 35 percent, while the aspects "control" and "service" are 20 and 10 percent. In addition, the patients' ratings are also included. This examines how the patients felt their treatment and evaluate the care, organization and service. This data comes from the platform Klinik evaluations.de and from the White List of the Bertelsmann Foundation. All evaluation criteria are summarized and result in a ranking list according to size classes.

The Alexian Hospitals, which are among the best clinics in Germany, are the following: Bethlehem Health Center in Stolberg, Raphaelsklinik in Münster, St. Martinus-Hilfhaus in Düsseldorf, Alexian St. Remigius Hospital in Opladen and Alexianer St. Josefs Hospital in Potsdam (category 150-300 beds); Marienhospital in Aachen, Clemenshospital in Münster, Alexianer St. Hedwig-Hastenhaus in Berlin and Alexian Hospital Hedwigshöhe in Berlin (300 to 500 beds). In addition, the Alexian hospital in Münster, the Alexian St. Joseph Hospital in Berlin-Weißensee and the Center for Mental Health of the Alexians in Aachen were listed as excellent specialist clinics for psychiatry, psychosomatics and psychotherapy.
