new agricultural scouts for green week in Berlin wanted in January 2025

The FML (Forum Modern Agriculture) has announced that training for agricultural scouts will be offered again as part of the Green Week in Berlin in January 2025. These training courses are intended to prepare the participants to conduct dialogue with consumers. The training takes place a day before the day of the day at the fair and also includes communication training. In addition, the prospective agricultural scouts receive an individualized press release for their local editorial actions and an agricultural scout vest. Your first assignment will take place in Berlin the following day at the Green Week.

At the Green Week in Berlin in January 2025, farmers, agricultural students and employees from the upstream and downstream area have the opportunity to enter dialogue with consumers. The agricultural scout project was launched in 2016 as part of the Green Week and is an initiative of the FML. The aim of the project is to give farmers and agricultural employees the opportunity to share their expertise and experience with the visitors and give them an authentic insight into their work. The agricultural scouts are available to visitors at the adventure farm in Hall 3.2 for personal conversations.

Since January 2016, over 850 people have been trained to form agricultural scouts. The project is now active not only in Germany, but also in Austria and Switzerland. The on -site farmers' associations implement the project in the respective countries.

To become agricultural scout, you have to be at least 16 years old and have a connection to agriculture. A separate operation is not a prerequisite. Interested parties can register using a registration form.

The Agrarscout project has an important function in promoting the dialogue between the city and the country. In recent years, the alienation between city and the country has increased significantly. The project helps to reduce prejudices and to sensitize society to agriculture. It also offers the opportunity to meet and network with like -minded people. The dialogue between farmers and non-farmers is intended to establish a connection between the two groups.
