The subway stations on Schloßstraße will be closed again for several weeks from July 17th. Passengers then have to switch to the buses and accept longer travel times and detours. The Berlin Verkehrsgesellschaft (BVG) announced that the U9 is blocked. One reason for the blocking is construction work on the subway line between the Schloßstraße underground station and the Steglitz underground station. The subway tracks are renewed there and the train stations are modernized.
