A4 and A17 traffic reports: closures and diversions for repair work and traffic lights

In the coming weeks, important changes in traffic will be on the commuters and travelers on the A4 and A17 motorways. We give you an overview of the current traffic information:

a4

between the Kodersdorf and Görlitz junctions in the direction of Görlitz is planned to block the stand and load track from August 12, 2024. The reason for this is necessary repair work. However, traffic will continue to be guided past the construction site via the overtaking lane. The blocking is expected to continue until August 14, 2024.

A17

From August 12, 2024, the Heidenau junction is closed in the direction of Dresden for a period of about two months. The reason for this is the construction of a new inpatient traffic light as well as extensive renovation work. During this time, traffic is diverted via the neighboring junctions Pirna and Dresden-Prohlis. The closure will probably exist until October 15, 2024.

These changes in traffic can lead to increased traffic volume, detours and potential delays. We ask all commuters and travelers for understanding and recommend planning alternative routes in good time or avoiding public transport in order to avoid possible delays.
