Second Markt for Future in Friedrichshain: Experience sustainability!
Frankfurter Allee 14A, 10247 Berlin, Deutschland - On July 26, 2025, the second “Markt for Future” takes place in Berlin. Between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., the event, which takes place behind the district central library Pablo Neruda in Frankfurter Allee 14a, invites everyone to a free visit. The event devotes itself to the 17 goals for sustainable development, which were determined by the United Nations ten years ago, to promote decent life and the protection of natural livelihood, as [berlin.de] (https://www.berlin.de/ba-friedrichshain-kreuzberg/aktuelles/pressemageilungen/2025/Pressemageilung 1577635.php)
This event aims to draw attention to the importance of these goals and to strengthen awareness of their importance. Participants are makers from the district who actively work on achieving these goals. The stands of associations, projects and initiatives will be available here to present their approaches for topics such as climate protection, social justice and good educational offers.
diverse program for the whole family
The program promises a variety of offers for young and old. Among other things, there will be a children's theater entitled "Rabatz with Mouse and Cat", which begins at 10.30 a.m. and is aimed at children from the age of four. In addition, the new memo mobile for mobile media education will be opened at 11.30 a.m.
For musical entertainment, Chef Bona provides juggling, clowning and music, while the Berlin Kiezchor appears at 2 p.m. with positive pop hits. From 2:30 p.m. the offer "Bona Drums" invites you to build and make instruments from recycling materials-a creative hands-on campaign for children until 4 p.m.
commitment to a sustainable future
In addition, there will be all-day bicycle checks through the general German bicycle club (ADFC) in order to also address environmentally friendly locomotion. The event is supported by various organizations such as the Fair Trade Action Alliance, the Curioso Children's Laboratory and the People's Solidarity Repaircafé. These institutions are committed to the distribution of the 17 sustainability goals, which among other things have the elimination of poverty and hunger as well as environmental protection as central concerns, as [unicef.de] (https://www.unicef.de/informen/chulen/ächtmater
