Environmentally friendly heat generation in Berlin: Habeck visits pioneering project

The use of renewable energies is increasing more and more in Germany. In a pioneering pilot project in Berlin, the real estate group Vonovia and the start-up decarbon1ze set new standards for sustainable heat generation in apartment buildings. Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck (Greens) will visit this project next Monday to appreciate the innovative techniques to improve energy efficiency.

The central element of this project is the use of excess wind energy for the heat of the building. Instead of simply wasting this energy, it is used efficiently by special power heating. These heating rods, which are installed in the hot water tank of the multi -family houses, guarantee environmentally friendly heat generation by operating electricity from renewable sources.

The use of such innovative technologies is crucial to promote the energy transition and significantly reduce CO2 emissions. Through the cooperation of companies such as vonovia, start-ups such as Decarbon1ze and state institutions such as the Federal Ministry of Economics, a future-oriented solution for sustainable energy supply is realized.

The participation of the East German transmission system operator 50hertz shows the importance of the cooperation of various actors in this area. The integration of wind energy into building heat is not only ecologically sensible, but also economically and technologically pioneering.
