Festive Christmas house: A day full of joy in Adlershof

A festive spectacle of the senses is just around the corner! On Saturday, November 30, 2024, the Kulturzentrum Alte School Adlershof in Berlin wakes up for a real Christmas dream! From 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., everyone is cordially invited to be kidnapped into the magical atmosphere of the Christmas house. Here is not only celebrated, but also tinkered, sung and laughed a lot - a festival for young and old!

The district councilor for further training, school, culture and sport, Marco Brauchmann, invites the Berliner and their families to spend this special day with him. "Look forward to a diverse program that will inspire young and old!" promises Brauchmann without forgetting the shimmer of the Christmas lights.

From 2:15 p.m., the Joseph Schmidt Music School in the Citizens' Hall starts a rousing program of dance and music. At 5:15 p.m. it gets really emotional- with the joint advent and Christmas carol singing, real festive mood comes up! But that's not all. In the rooms of the neighborhood club, the library and the municipal gallery, creative workshops await young and old visitors. There you can make gift boxes and advent calendars, become creative when baking gingerbread or can be transformed into Christmas figures while making children's painting!

In the Stefan Heym library, district mayor Oliver Igel will enchant the small listeners with an exciting children's book reading at 3:20 p.m. But the theater lovers also get their money's worth: Maik Zöllner amazes the children with his shadow theater at 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Another highlight of the gallery exhibition "The kids are not Alright!" the "Ossi-Wessi Nähcafé" heralds, where visitors can get creative together with the artist Nadja Buttendorf from 3:00 p.m.

If the darkness sets in slowly at around 4:30 p.m., district councilor Marco Brauchmann takes care of a solemn moment: he will make the Christmas house glitter at the push of a button and warmly welcome the guests! The artists of Lüültrio, in the Mood, Di Grine Kuzine and Rosa Landers & Band provide additional musical entertainment from 2:00 p.m. Moritz Russ will lead through the festive program as a charming moderator.
