The fair run in Akacienkiez: One step into the future of fair trade
On September 13, 2024, an extraordinary event will take place in the pulsating Akacienkiez, which not only enliven the local economy, but also wants to put the importance of fair trade in the foreground. The fair run combines seven retailers who are committed to the principle of fair trade and offers visitors the opportunity to playfully discover new favorite shops.
The participating shops, including the fashion label UVR Berlin and the children's shop "Klix - Small things", offer a wide range of products: from fair fashion offer to biological food to exquisite fair trade chocolate. The fair run not only promotes the diversity of sustainable products, but also the awareness of consumers for the positive effects of their purchase decisions.
Guests of participating guests receive a so -called fair pass when entering the shops, through which they can collect stickers in the individual shops. With four collected stickers there is a little surprise to serve as an incentive to visit less well -known business and to explore their offers.A special highlight of the event is the tasting of fair chocolate products, which not only offers the participants a sweet pleasure, but also the opportunity to learn more about the production and fair trade principles. In addition, the retailers will present their concepts and the importance of fair trade in their companies.
Laura Jäger from the Fair Handel Berlin campaign alliance will give guests an overview of the advantages of fair trade. The fair run is therefore not only an opportunity to buy and enjoy, but also an important step in the networking of sustainable companies and new customers.
