Telekom counters Höcke: No advertising slogan, no Nazi slogan!

Deutsche Telekom defends itself against a statement by Björn Höcke, an AfD politician, regarding an alleged advertising slogan of the company. During a TV duel with the CDU politician Mario Voigt, Höcke claimed that Telekom had used the slogan "Everything for Germany" in the past, which the company decidedly rejected and checked legal steps. According to a Telekom spokesman, this claim is wrong.

The sentence mentioned is a forbidden solution of the SA, the paramilitary fighting organization of the NSDAP. Due to the use of this slogan in a speech, Höcke has to deal with the accusation of using indicators in Halle in Halle. Telekom had already acted against the AfD federal spokeswoman Alice Weidel last year after making a similar false claim about the company's advertising slogan.

Höcke, who works as a history teacher, justified his choice of words in the TV duel and stated that it was not known during the speech that it was a SA slogan. He described the saying as a "common saying". Telekom has made it clear that the claims of Höcke and Weidel regarding the former advertising slogan do not correspond to the truth and consider legal steps.
