Youth film days Spandau: Nicotine and alcohol in sight - successful addiction prevention for Berlin students: Inside
according to a report by www.berlin.de , from October 13th, the youth film days Spandau found under the motto "Nicotine and alcohol - everyday drugs in sight". The event week in the Kulturhaus Spandau and the cinema based there offered school classes and teachers the opportunity to playfully deal with everyday drugs.
The youth film days included a variety of hands-on activities, information materials and the demonstration of an exciting feature film. Nicotine and alcohol in particular were discussed because they often occur in everyday life for young people. The event was financed by the Spandau District Office and in cooperation with the Berlin Supplement Prevention and Local Partners: Interior from the areas of advice and pedagogy.
The district councilor for youth and health, Tanja Franzke, emphasized that the youth film days gave young people impulses for an enlightened and responsible handling of nicotine and alcohol. Through cooperation with actors such as addiction advice centers, addiction prevention projects, the Berlin and teachers police, the success of the measure was ensured.
The managing director of the specialist office for addiction prevention, Anke Timm, emphasized that the youth film days are an important part of addiction prevention in the school field. Here the young people get the opportunity to create a critical examination of everyday drugs nicotine and alcohol in a creative way and to strengthen their consumption and risk competencies.
Janika Jarling, head of the Senate Department for Education, Youth and Family, emphasized the relevance of the youth film days for the pupils: Interior in the field of addiction prevention. The action -oriented and practical approach offers an excellent way to find out more about the health consequences of nicotine and alcohol and to motivate young people to use alcohol.
Over 500 students: Inside the eighth classes of Spandau high schools took part in the youth film days Spandau this year. The event was organized in collaboration between the Spandau district office, the Sibuz Spandau and the Berlin Supplementary Prevention.
