Refurbishment of SEIWO Technik: expansion of the leading market position in museum construction

Stollberg/Erzgeb. -The Seiwo Technik, a Saxon specialist for museum construction and stage technology, celebrates the successful completion of the renovation of its subsidiary with locations in Drebach, Scharfenstein and Hohenstein-Ernstthal. Through joint efforts by insolvency administrator Dr. Dirk Herzig and Managing Director Dr. Jan Wabst the company was led back to the success zone.

The company was renovated against the background of enormously increased prices for materials and energy. These price increases were a result of the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine and represented a major challenge for the company. Despite the difficult situation, several significant projects have been won in the one and a half years since the beginning of the renovation process, including the modern permanent exhibition in the Hoheneck/Stollberg memorial.

The solemn reopening of this memorial took place on July 11th and was accompanied by Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Stollberg Mayor Marcel Schmidt. Through the work of the Seiwo Technik, the new permanent exhibition was opened to visitors in August. The exhibition is appropriate to the fate of the detainees and contributes to the processing of political repression in the GDR.

dr. Jan Wabst, Managing Director of Seiwo Technik, confidently commented on the future of the company: "The discussions about the entry of a regional investor have progressed well, and we hope that we can still announce a degree in the autumn with the submission of an insolvency plan. Together with the investor, we would like to further expand our market position in museum building."

The successful completion of the renovation and the positive development of SEIWO Technik are also reflected in the current order situation and the company's training plans. The wages and salaries of employees have been generated from ongoing operations since April of this year. From August, two new trainees begin their carpentry apprenticeship, which confirms the company's commitment to the future.

The SeiWo Technik GmbH is part of the Seiwo Group and has established itself as a leading provider in the field of exhibition and stage construction as well as advertising technology. The approximately 40 employees of the company specialize in metal construction, carpentry, glass shop, paint shop and media technology. Customers include well -known museums, memorials and private companies.
