Security on school paths: Reinickendorf increases controls in front of schools

Red alarm level on the school traces of Reinickendorf! In the past two weeks, the regulatory office has ensured security in front of the schools with an impressive persistence program. The authorities have set themselves the task of minimizing the dangers for our little ones on the way to school - and with all might!

"Hard controls!" - This runs like a thread through the past few weeks. Since the beginning of the school year, the field has already punished 184 administrative offenses directly at the gates of the educational institutions. Ten of them were documented with written violations, while 73 oral warnings were pronounced. "We have had over 100 conversations with the citizens, our goal: to illustrate the importance of the way to school and the right behavior in road traffic," explains the district councilor for order, environment and transport, Julia Schrod-Thiel (CDU).

Security in the first place!

According to Schrod-Thiel, the parents' speech is of the utmost importance: "We appeal to all road users to take into account the latest and most worthy of rifle road users and to strictly adhere to the rules." The regular checks are continued for the entire school year. A consciousness in the population is created that is not only easy, but absolutely necessary!

School City Councilor Harald Muschner (CDU) also has a strong word: "Parents should always practice school with the children so that they can certainly master it alone." This is where the "On foot to school" campaign comes into play, which offers valuable support in the youth traffic school.

"The security of our children on their way to school has a top priority!" Emphasizes the district councilor emphasized. Especially at the beginning of the school year, it is of the greatest urgency to consistently enforce the traffic rules. Schrod-Thiel is satisfied that "we can make a positive contribution to avoiding accidents and raise awareness of this critical point."
