Louter and agile with 100: The recipe for success by jubilee Ursula Schäfer
District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner recently visited the 100-year-old jubilee Ursula Schäfer to warmly congratulate her in the Johanniter senior residence on Veitstraße. Ursula Schäfer was born in Luckenwalde and grew up near Lutherstadt Wittenberg. After working in the GDR as a crane guide and later as a nurse, she moved to the western part of Berlin with her war -sabby husband, where she built up an existence with jobs in home.
Today, Ursula Schäfer is lovingly looked after by her daughter and son -in -law. Her daughter visits her almost every day and brings her dog a treat, while the son -in -law occasionally arrives by taxi to serve homemade meals. Despite some health complaints such as rheumatism, gout and arthrosis, Ursula Schäfer is flexible and humorous. She emphasizes the importance of family and neighbors for her happiness in old age and shares her personal recipe for success for a fulfilling life: let's run thoughts, let out in trouble and drink mistaken tea every day. Of course, she also treats herself a little chocolate every day and never rejects an egg liqueur.
Ursula Schäfer's story reflects how a positive lifestyle and strong social support can contribute to satisfaction in old age. Your wisdom and rituals may also inspire others to fill their days with joy and serenity. It is remarkable how people like Ursula Schäfer can be a source of inspiration for their community through their life experience and resilience.
