From November 10, 2023, the Graphothek Berlin will present works by the artist Zuzanna Schmukalla in the gallery in the Fontane House. The artist's abstract picturesque work is characterized by densely set lines that overlap and overlap and grow into narrow braids. This creates complex, lively interior forms that arouse associations with nature and landscape. In addition to the large -format paintings, filigree ink drawings are also presented, which complement the artistic position of Schmukalla. The artist is also represented with some works of art in the borrowing of the Graphothek.

The opening of the exhibition takes place on November 9, 2023 at 6.30 p.m. in the gallery in the Fontane-Haus. The exhibition can then be visited from November 10th to December 20, 2023. Admission is free and the opening times are Monday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The traffic connection to the gallery is given with the S1 Wittenau and the buses M21, X21, 124 and X33 to Märkisches Center.

In addition to the exhibition visit, the Graphothek Berlin offers an accompanying program. On Tuesday, November 14, 2023, there will be a watercolor workshop on the subject of "Basics of Abstract Watercolor Painting" from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Zuzanna Schmukalla leads the participants through the exhibition. Another watercolor workshop with a tour of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, November 23, 2023 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Both workshops have their meeting point in the foyer of the gallery in the Fontane-Haus.
