Berlin has talent: Future of Reinickendorfer Sports secured
The district talentiadaae as part of the “Berlin Has Talent” program took place on May 24th in the hall of the Thomas Mann Gymnasium in the Märkisches Quarter. Over 100 sporty talented children took part in the event, in which they gain various movement experiences and receive support in choosing their “future favorite sport”. State coaches and representatives of various sports had the opportunity to see talented children and win them for their sport.
District Mayor Emine Demirbüken-Wegner (CDU) was enthusiastic about the event and praised the “Berlin Has Talent” program, which has been taking place in Berlin since 2011 and has been carried out across the city since the school year 2020/21. The program is supported and financed by the State Sports Association and the Berlin Senate, including through the AOK and the Sparkasse.
The motto of the program is "Performance is fun" with the aim of inspiring children in the long term for sports clubs. The most talented participants are specifically encouraged and have the opportunity to be recorded in Berlin elite schools. In addition, the children are trained playfully and across sports to improve their movement skills. The range of movements takes place in schools to ensure low -threshold offers. Children with disabilities are supported by inclusion networks.
ANL OF 20,000 third graders take part in the German Motoric Test and receive a voucher for a three-month trial membership in a partner club from "Berlin Has Talent". Children with special needs are encouraged in special groups, while talented children are invited to talentiade. You have the opportunity to start a elite school of sports or to continue your sporting development in the sports club.
District Mayor Demirbüken-Wegner praised the uniform and including program, which supports both talented and average motor children. The inclusion component enables all children, regardless of their skills, to participate in sport. Such programs promote the sporting development of children and their physical activity increases.
