Magic mirror worlds on the banks of the Weig: Art exhibition in Berlin

An unique exhibition with the creative title "Reflect Yourself - of Perspectives and Variations" is created at the idyllic art bridge in Berlin. The artists Ulli Gabler and Dieter Ströbel have transformed the historical toilet facility into a visual-imaginative space that takes visitors into a fascinating world with mirrors and light tubes.

The exhibition, which will open on September 6, 2024 at 6 p.m., presents delicately forms of mirror fragments that act as a bizarre foreign body and create a unstable parallel world. The artists are interested in the complex dialogue between subject, object and space, which creates a confusion between presence and absence.

Ulli Gabler and Dieter Ströbel can be guided by found materials and explore the diverse manifestations of light, which is their central topic. The exhibition "Reflect Yourself" shows the result of a reinterpretation and redesign of the place, which was created by an intensive examination of the atmosphere of the room.

The visitors have the opportunity to visit the exhibition from September 7th to November 3, 2024. The finissage will take place on November 3 at 4 p.m., in which the artists will personally be present. The exhibition is curated by Diana Nowak and Clara von Schwerin.
