Millions of euros construction projects in Lichtenberg: Preliminary notices and building applications in the focus - July and August 2024

In Lichtenberg there is a wealth of current construction and planning projects that will change the face of the district in the near future. In July 2024, a total of five preliminary notices for construction projects worth over € 1 million were approved in the Lichtenberg district office.

Among the approved projects are plans for Seddiner Straße 8 in Friedrichsfelde, where a multi-storey business, office, residential and accommodation building is to be rebuilt, increased and converted. Likewise, the change in use of an office in a accommodation company in the relay floor in Rhinstraße 137 A in Lichtenberg is also planning.

In August 2024, the Lichtenberg district office again recorded five preliminary notices of € 1 million, including the demolition of the Aldi market on the extended Waldowallee 44 in Karlshorst to make room for business and student living. Other projects include the construction of a new stationary hospice, day care and senior citizens' apartments at Dorfstraße 18 in Wartenberg and the construction of two apartment buildings with underground car park at Suermondstraße 5 in Alt-Hohenschönhausen.

Another important construction project, a building application for € 1 million, was submitted for the Köpenicker Chaussee 46 in Rummelburg in August. A hall for product presentations with offices, workshops and toilet wing is to be created here.

In addition to the pre -notices, construction notices according to § 75 BauO for projects in Lichtenberg were granted. In July 2024 there were two such building preliminary notices, including the construction of row houses in Seefelder Straße 47.49 in Alt-Hohenschönhausen. In August, another building preliminary decision for Lückstraße 31, 31 A-C in Rummelburg was granted, where three residential buildings with microapartments and commercial "shortsay" use are to be created.

These construction projects reflect the continuous growth and development of Lichtenberg, which make the district a coveted location for investments and future living.
