Reading on the M8: A literary dream along the route - 7th reading night attracts literature enthusiasts
On January 20, 2024, the 7th reading night on the M8 in Marzahn-Hellersdorf invites all literary and cultural enthusiasts to an evening full of pleasure and cultural exchange. At ten unique reading locations along the M8, 32 authors present texts from various genres, including crime novels, love stories, biographies and philosophical texts. Reading night offers visitors the opportunity to visit the reading locations of their choice and change during the breaks of 45 minutes. The event is under the motto "It is not wanting to be worse than to see" (W.I. Uljanow) and promises the guests an inspiring opportunity to experience the world of literature up close.
The reading night presents a variety of texts and offers visitors unique backdrops for their reading experiences. Starting from the historic village church to cozy meeting points to unusual places such as a car dealership, a dance school or an environmental station from clay - the reading night moves the route along the M8 into a literary dream. Visitors have the opportunity to enter into a personal dialogue with the authors and to discover the world of books.
The reading night begins at 6:30 p.m., admission is 20 euros per person for three readings, and tickets are possible at all reading locations. Books and drinks can also be purchased on site. Further information is available on the website www.lesacht-an-der-m8.de.
