Free demonstration: Marzahn, Mon Amour inspires on June 20!
On Friday, June 20, 2025, a free demonstration of the ARD Degeto series "Marzahn, Mon Amour" will take place in the Arndt Baase Hall of the Marzahn Leisure Forum. This event, which is organized in cooperation with the district office, begins at 7:15 p.m. The doors are open from 7:00 p.m., and from 6:00 p.m. food trucks are ready to spoil the guests with culinary delights. The tickets are free, but the places are limited and online reservations are required. The filming of the six -part series took place from May 23 to July 1, 2024 in the Marzahner Promenade, where the stories of the neighborhood come alive.
The series is based on the autobiographical work of Katja Oskamp, who works as a pollution in Berlin-Marzahn. The focus is on her experiences and the life stories that she hears from her announcements: inside and colleagues. Produced by UFA fiction, the series addresses everyday happiness moments and concerns of the residents. The positive response to the series shows itself both across Germany and in Marzahn. The production company thanks residents for their friendly support during the filming, so that the stories could be captured really authentically.

The demonstration starts with an introduction, followed by the first four episodes of the series. After a short break, there will be the possibility of exchange before the remaining episodes are shown at around 10:00 p.m. Henriette Lippold, producer at UFA Fiction, comments on the demanding process that the stories of Oskamp's visualization and to have to represent the perspectives of older people. The director Clara Zoë My-Linh from Arnim emphasizes how important it is to show diversity and life in this special district.
The entire series has been available in the ARD Mediathek since March 14, 2025, so that spectators can experience the experiences and stories of Marzahn at any time. "Marzahn, Mon Amour" is not only a tribute to the district, but also to the people who shape it.
In addition to "Marzahn, Mon Amour", the feature film "Grand City Forsterer", in which the protagonist Jana Doussière, played by Stefanie Reinsperger, takes on a job in the Grunewald Forest Office. Jana comes out of the Vosges and has difficulty dealing with people. The complexity of urban life is shown here in a humorous way, comparable to the challenges that the figures experience in "Marzahn, Mon Amour".
The integer of the stories and the approach to authentically present the Marzahn district is a valuable contribution to the cultural history of Berlin. The demonstration creates a common platform for exchange and entertainment that celebrates the cultural diversity of the district.
