Klimato protestas Berlyne: šimtai iškastinio kuro reikalauja
Po to, kai „paskutinė karta“ penktadienį paragino protestuoti, maždaug 600 žmonių iš visos Vokietijos šeštadienį susirinko pergalės koloną Berlyne. Policijos teigimu, maždaug šimtas klimato aktyvistų taip pat įstrigo birželio 17 d. Gatvėje ir vėl juos blokuoja visą dieną. Demonstrantai paragino nutraukti iškastinio kuro subsidijas ir taikiai pasipriešino. Policija bandė pašalinti klimato klijus iš gatvės, tačiau nepavyko, nes buvo pridėtos naujos.
Žvelgiant iš Berlyno piliečio perspektyvos, tokie veiksmai rodo nuolatinį klimato aktyvistų ir vyriausybės konfliktą. Birželio 17 d. Kelias yra viena iš svarbiausių miesto eismo arterijų, o jo uždarymas daro įtaką eismui ir atkreipia dėmesį į demonstrantų rūpesčius. Tokie protestai taip pat gali sugriežtinti viešas diskusijas apie klimato pokyčius ir vyriausybės priemones.
„Mokslininkų sukilimo“ ir „sveikatos sveikatos“ įkūrėjo narių dalyvavimas rodo, kad protestą palaiko ne tik jauni žmonės, bet ir platus gyventojų skaičius. Žmonių iš įvairių visuomenės sričių dalyvavimas padidina konkrečių klimato apsaugos priemonių reikalavimus.
