Memorial events in Germany: Steinmeier warns of anti -Semitism

In Germany, numerous memorial events were held in Germany on the anniversary of the Hamas attack on Israel. Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier warned that Germany was in a tear test. At an inter -religious celebration in the Memorial Church in Berlin, he emphasized that the conflict in the Middle East also causes grief, anger and fear in this country. Steinmeier explained that anti -Semitism, which is characterized by demands for a Middle East without Israel, should never be tolerated. Germany must be on the side of Israel in solidarity if its existence is threatened.
