Gammertingen Royals: U16-softballers get sensational championship titles!

Karlsruhe, Deutschland - Sensations in softball! The Gammertinger U16-Softballers wrote history at the German Championships in Karlsruhe and secured their first German championship title on the field. With an impressive 9-0 victory against the Berlin Ravens in the final, the Royals crowned their outstanding season. The team, which entered the semi -finals as the best group second, showed a concentrated performance with a strong defensive and offensive in the final.

The way to the title started with a triumphant 12-2 victory against the Main-Taunus-Redwings. An exciting duel against the Freising Grizzlies ended in a narrow 7: 8 defeat, but the Royals could not be discouraged. With another victory against the Paderborn Untouchables (9: 5) they secured the place in the semi -finals, where they once again prevailed 11: 7 against Karlsruhe and Stuttgart.
