Open day: Free HIV test and expert lecture in Berlin

On Monday, December 2, the Center for Sexual Health and Family Planning opens its doors and invites all Berliners to become part of a unique event for the World AIDS Day!

From 12 noon to 6 p.m., the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg health department is transformed into a contact point for information and support on the subject of sexual health. Here are the highlights at a glance:

  • Free HIV test: Nobody needs an appointment! Just come over and test!
  • Questions and answers: information stands and the opportunity to ask experts directly. What do you want to know about HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases?
  • contraception in the focus: Information about hormonal and non-hormonal contraceptives are also on the program.
  • sexual education offer: Find out more about the various programs that the Center for Sexual Health offers.

A very special highlight follows at 6 p.m. when the committed activist and public health expert Vitaliy Andres enters the stage. His lecture entitled: "The influence of war on HIV in Ukraine and barriers, to whom refugees encounter in Germany" promises profound insights into an extremely current topic.
