Inclusion Sports Festival Berlin 2024: Barrieren Breaken & Celebrate Diversity!

On the occasion of the Inclusion Week Berlin 2024, the district sports association invites you to an inclusion sports festival on the site of TIB 1848 e.V. in Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg. The event serves to exchange information about inclusion and anti -discrimination work in sports to reduce barriers and promote integrative coexistence.

sport is a way to bring people together regardless of physical or mental skills, origin or gender. Andy Hehmke, district councilor for school, sports and facility management emphasizes the importance of inclusion in sport. He explains: "Sport unites, strengthens the sense of community and teaches us mutual respect. It is our job to reduce barriers and stand up for a coexistence in which diversity is celebrated."

The sports festival takes place on Saturday, September 14, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the sports grounds of TIB 1848 e.V. am Columbiadamm 111 in 10965 Berlin. The sports funding Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg, the State Sports Association, the Sport & Inclusion Berlin and TIB 1848 e.V.
