Volunteer wanted: become an arbitrator in Kreuzberg!
The district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg of Berlin is currently looking for interested parties for the voluntary work of an arbitration in the Kreuzberg district. The arbitrators are responsible for the implementation of arbitration proceedings in bourgeois legal disputes about property law claims as well as in non-assets for violation of personal honor and in some criminal matters.
In order to work as an arbitrator, you have to meet certain criteria. One should be at least 30 years old and not older than 70 years, live in the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district and have no judicial restrictions on dealing with their assets. Further information on the arbitration office and the arbitration procedure are available on the website www.schiedendret.de or www.bds-berlin.com.
Contact in the district office Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg for any questions or applications is Ms. Brandwein, available on the phone number (030) 90298-4136 or by email at ulrike.brandwein@ba-fk.berlin.de. Applications with a curriculum vitae can be directed by August 28, 2024 to the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg district office of Berlin, Legalamt-RA 5-, Frankfurter-Allee 35/37, 10247 Berlin.
This initiative of the district office offers interested citizens the opportunity to volunteer for the community and contribute to conflict resolution in the neighborhood. By creating such a local arbitration office, disputes can be solved on a low level before escalating and ending up in court.
A table with information about the number of arbitrators in other districts of Berlin or comparisons to similar arbitration initiatives in other cities could provide additional context and illustrate the commitment of citizens for such voluntary tasks.
