A spokesman for the “last generation” claimed that Olaf Scholz mistakenly claimed that the government's measures against the climate catastrophe are sufficient, but this was a life -threatening lie.

The “last generation” also sprayed buildings from the Technical University (TU) and the Free University (FU) with orange -colored color in mid -October. Some perpetrators were arrested by the police. The day after, the world clock on Alexanderplatz was also sprayed with orange color. On September 17th, members of the group also smeared the Brandenburg gate with orange color, which has not yet been completely cleaned.

Finance senator Stefan Evers (CDU) emphasized that the polluters should be held liable for the damage by the climate protection group "Last generation". The previous damage amounts to around 115,000 euros that should not be borne by the Berlin taxpayer.
