ERC Ingolstadt humiliated in the derby: 1: 5 defeat in Munich!
ERC Ingolstadt has suffered a bitter setback in the German Ice Hockey League (DEL) and received the second defeat in the derby against EHC Munich. After a 2: 4 defeat against the Eisbären Berlin on Thursday, Ingolstadt lost 1: 5 in the new SAP Arena on Sunday. Despite the support of over 1,000 fans who joined loudly for their panther, the team had to accept a clear defeat by goals of Alex Breton (18th minute), Les Lancaster (30th), Chris Desousa (36.) and Yasin Ehliz (59.)
The panther, decimated by injuries and a lock, performed appealing in the first third, but in the second section the Munich team switched to attack mode and turned the game in favor of the hosts. The Ingolstadt tumbled against the aggressive attacks and were unable to add to Myles Powell in the last third despite PowerPlays and a possibility. This defeat now costs you valuable points in the race for the lead, and you are now six points behind leaders behind Berlin, reports www.heimatsport.de .
