Berlin faces an exciting fresh start! A real Africa house is to conquer the heart of the capital and become a unique center for the African community in Germany. The visionary entrepreneur Michael Williams, born in Nigeria and known as a logistics magnate in Berlin-Spandau, is the driving engine behind this bold project!
"It will not be a Nigeria or Zimbabwe house, but a real Africa house!" With these powerful words, Williams announced in the capital, which is a long -awaited dream for many. The African German Association (AGA) will drive the project forward and cooperate closely with the 51 African messages in Berlin. A place that is supposed to overcome the gap between Africa and Germany - that is the goal!
a diverse offer for everyone
The Africa house will present all facets of Africa! Numerous thematic focuses are planned - from business to culture, from social life to tourism. Information, conferences and even courses for African languages are offered here. The offer ranges from books to social advice for couples and even support for cultural differences!
An intercontinental restaurant will bring the variety of African cuisine to Berlin, while special event halls offer space for weddings, conferences and other festive occasions. To round off the house, a kindergarten and hotel room are also planned - a real center for African culture in Germany!
A call to action
On October 18, the AGA will organize an exclusive event in the famous Hotel Adlon to collect donations for the Africa house. Prominent African politicians and successful entrepreneurs have already announced their coming - a sign of the common will to bring this project to life!
The property for this ambitious project is located in Berlin-Mitte and is a proud 10,000 square meters in size. With an investment of a total of 50 million euros, the plans are already in dry towels, and the goal is to open the house in two years!
"Most Germans don't know Africa and were never there. But in Africa house they can learn everything about us," added the ambassador of Zimbabwe, Alice Mashingaidze. A platform for intercultural understanding and encounter - the Berliners can be excited about it!
