A suspected burglar was arrested in Hohenschönhausen yesterday morning! At around 9:45 a.m., an attentive 26-year-old observed a strange man on Rüdickenstrasse trying to break his neighbor's door lock. He immediately alerted the police - and they arrived in no time!
The officers from police section 31 were able to catch the 31-year-old suspect in the hallway. When he was arrested, several burglary tools were found in his backpack. The suspect is now in police custody and will be transferred to a specialist burglary department. Today he will be brought before a standby court where a warrant for his arrest may be issued. High tension in the streets of Hohenschönhausen!
