Berlin: School class has to pay a high black driver fee after the closing trip - Deutsche Bahn does not require a goodwill on request

school class escapes a high black -driven fee due to the goodwill of Deutsche Bahn

On her return trip from a final trip to Utrecht in the Netherlands, a Berlin school class was imposed on a black -driven fee of 9091.60 euros through no fault of your own. However, Deutsche Bahn has announced that due to goodwill, refraining from collecting the fee. This was reported by the broadcaster "RBB24".

The incident began at Duisburg station, where the school class actually wanted to climb the Flixtrain at 4:36 p.m. Due to incorrect track ads, however, the class missed the train and had to negotiate with the station staff for hours. The conditions at the station were described by one of the accompanying teachers as "very chaotic". Since the next flixtrain failed, school -class train employees finally allowed to go to Berlin free of charge with an ICE.

Before the trip, the teachers had consulted the school management, parents' representatives and a lawyer. The railway also confirmed that there were incorrect track information. The trip was finally continued at 8.10 p.m.

In the ICE, the trip first went smoothly until the controller checked the tickets after a shift change. Since he was not informed about the goodwill solution, he calculated an increased transport fee of 9,091.60 euros to the class. The teachers and students then refused to communicate with the controller and the inclusion of personal details. The controller finally called police reinforcements at the destination station. The teacher described the behavior of the train employees and the police as "absolutely inappropriate and unnecessary", while a police spokesman described this incident as a "normal procedure".

For the school class, half of the students of Arab origin, the incident had a bitter aftertaste. In May they had already been the victim of a racist mob on a trip to Heidesee in Brandenburg. At that time, many students with Arab background had to be escorted by the police from a danger situation. This meant that the new encounter with a large police accumulation irritated the students because they had just had negative experiences with the police.

Deutsche Bahn said that a misinformation at Duisburg station was responsible for the incident. For goodwill reasons, the fare after the school class is not requested. The black driver fee is therefore not charged. A spokesman for Deutsche Bahn also announced that it would examine and process the incident.
